ORIGINAL VIDEOS & POTENTIAL EXTRA INCOME

How to earn money
from original videos.

You may already have an interesting original clip on your phone. Licensing that footage is one way to explore earning from it without building your own publishing channel.

Start with what
you actually own.

Funny pet behaviour, an unusual everyday moment, impressive skills or an unexpected event can be worth sharing. What matters first is that you filmed it and hold the rights, or have documented commercial authority.

A downloaded viral video, social-media repost or background song is not automatically yours to license. Check creator rights and permissions before submitting.

From a clip to
potential earnings.

  1. Keep the best original file and accurate context.
  2. Read the licence, submission terms and earnings rules.
  3. Submit securely through your contributor account.
  4. Allow time for security, rights and editorial review.
  5. If selected and used in qualifying monetized content, track eligible earnings in your account.

Is this an easy way to make money?

A simple submission process does not mean easy or guaranteed income. Many clips are not selected, and selected clips may earn nothing. Earnings depend on accepted terms, qualifying receipts, original-source allocation and any applicable verified tier. Filming safely, documenting rights and responding to review can take effort.

You do not need to buy a course or build a following just to explore this route. Before deciding, read how contributor earnings are calculated and distinguish estimated earnings from confirmed payments.

Can I keep posting my own video?

Copyright ownership and permission to use footage are different. Review your accepted non-exclusive licence and any other agreements before submitting. Keep the original source and evidence of permissions. We cannot guarantee a platform will never raise a copyright flag.
